Karen’s role is to bring more accountancy expertise in-house and to take on the role previously filled by Adrian Bartlett who retires at the end of 2017, following 28 years as a non-executive director at WES.
We are delighted to have successfully transitioned our Quality Management systems to ISO 9001:2015 and for the first time certification to ISO 14001:2015 for our Environmental systems.
Assessments by AJA Registrars at the end of June proved extremely successful and highlighted the commitment of our staff to maintaining and developing our management systems. WES Ltd is delighted to have completed the assessment process showing full compliance to both standards.
Maintaining the ISO 9001 certification and gaining the ISO 14001 certification demonstrates to clients and staff our continued commitment to quality, the environment and continual improvement.
Adding the ISO 14001 certificate is a great step forward for us and provides evidence of our environmental credentials, demonstrating our policy on waste, energy usage and enabling us to meet the increasingly high expectations of our clients as well as statutory and regulatory requirements.
This success will not only benefit WES’ existing clients but will also assist in the pre-qualification process for prospective customers.
Very well done to all our staff – we couldn’t have done it without you!
We are proud to announce that we have 2 new apprentice Mechanical Engineers, Philip and Shannon, supported by SETA college in Southampton. Their first 24 weeks will be at college and thereafter they will be working in our workshop with frequent visits by a SETA representative to grade projects and set new goals.
