This fully enclosed chemical DS200 Dosing Unit with capacity for 200 litres of storage is an ideal plug and play solution.

Ease of Use

With an integral bund and full height front roller door, the unit provides a safe & robust fully enclosed lockable unit. By using modern Digital dosing pumps with a user interface that lets you enter the dosing rate you want directly on the screen, the systems are very simple to use.

Features

Polyethylene enclosure – IP54 rated with integral 240 Litre capacity bund, (resistant to most Chemicals), lockable front access Polyethylene roller shutter door. Up to 200 Litre fixed integral storage tank or user supplied standard chemical containers. The unit is designed to be moved by forklift with integral lifting slots.

Fill point – If fitted with an integral tank, the storage tank has a screw off lid for direct Chemical filling or can be provided with proprietary fill connections & valves for filling by Chemical delivery suppliers.

Digital Dosing Pump(s) – Allowing direct operator entry of dose rate. Also, allowing manual or auto operation modes with direct input of pulse or 4-20mA flow proportional control signals. Single pump duty or dual pump duty & standby setups are possible.

Dual contained pipework connections – Suction & delivery pipework can be dual contained with the outer sleeves connected directly to the unit. Any pipework leakage is detected by the switch in the bund.

Control – Various options available from simple manual control to full flow proportional automatic dosing.

Dose rates – Models available allowing dose rates as low as 0.025 l/hr or up to 150 l/hr.

Drip tray/bund – The integral bund will contain any leakage and the level switch will inhibit the pump(s).

Health & Safety – With integral chemical containment, automatic leak detection cut-off & splash screens, etc., the DS200 provides a safe dosing system for both operator & environment.

Our trademarked DosingCube™ is used in several different applications from single use with IBCs to perform temporary or emergency duties or as part of a modular and interchangeable system for ease of use and process/maintenance efficiency (just replace one for another, it can be returned to WES for annual service with no disruption to the end users process). You can also purchase a DosingCube™ stand to suit different applications.

DosingCube™ Customisation

WES DosingCube™ is a versatile safe and secure system that can be fully customised to specific customer/industry requirements, including customer or chemical specific colour options and logos.

Features

By utilising compact high quality digital dosing pumps which have a user interface that lets you enter the dosing rate you want directly on the screen, the DosingCube™ enclosure is small enough to be portable. Furthermore, with a very wide turndown ratio (100:1 for smaller pumps 800:1 for large pumps) and no need for complicated stroke rate calculations, the DosingCube™ is truly plug & play.

Polyethylene enclosure IP54 rated with integral drip-tray, resistant to most chemicals, lockable toggle catch closure, carrying handles, clear window.

High quality digital dosing pump allowing direct operator entry of dose rate. Also, allowing manual or auto operation modes with direct input of pulse or 4-20mA flow proportional control signals.

Dual contained pipework connections – suction & delivery pipework can be dual contained with the outer sleeves connected directly to the DosingCube™. Any pipework leakage is detected by the switch in the drip tray.

Controller/Timer – allows chemical dosing to be started/stopped at pre-set times. All DosingCube™ are dual voltage 110 or 240V – 110V plug on flying lead supplied as standard.

WES offer a range of solutions for validating & remote monitoring chemical addition at the point of injection, from straightforward, Cube based, flow switch assemblies to bespoke, environmentally protected, electromagnetic flowmeter packages.

The WES SC1000 is designed for outdoor use and prevents the common problem of most IBC bunding filling with rainwater and issues of being compliant. This lockable unit keeps chemicals stored both safe and secure and still offers ease of use.

Uses

The WES DS1000 meets the pre-requisites for safe and secure (lockable) storage and containment required by responsible users of chemicals stored in IBCs, whilst at the same time offering operators ease of use.

The DS1000 is fully compatible with other WES “standard products” to form small standalone dosing systems. (DosingCube™ and DS200)

The DS1000 also offers much more secure containment of Hazardous chemical (Hazchem) with its roller shutter door. This greatly reduces the occurrence of vandalism.

Ease of Use

Lightweight and yet extremely robust. The base of the unit has reinforced forklift lifting recesses. (It is not advised to lift the unit with an IBC in position)

  • A fully enclosed weatherproof Polyethylene rotationally moulded enclosure and integral bund designed to accept a standard 1000 Litre IBC. The DS1000 unit prevents the common problem of exposed IBC bunds filling with rainwater and can be fitted as standard with a WES DosingCube™ and chemical fill arrangement to create a complete low-cost chemical dosing system.

For Ferrous Sulphate conditioning of marine Copper Nickel seawater systems, the CuGuard™ unit provides a single packaged rig to create a regulated concentration solution and then to automatically apply the solution to the ship’s Copper Nickel seawater system for initial “burning-in”, or to dose the solution at the pre-determined dose rate into the cooler flow.

Allows compliance with Ministry of Defence DEF STAN 02-781

Accepts a standard 25kg bag of Ferrous Sulphate crystal and automatically mixes the crystal with water to create the solution within a sealed dissolving cell

Operator interface on the control panel allows the dose rate to be pre-set and then the digital chemical dosing pump will deliver the Ferrous Sulphate solution at the correct rate to provide optimum conditions for Copper Nickel protective film maintenance

Integral unit with dissolving cell, dosing pump, flowmeter, valving, control panel, etc – avoids the risks associated with the often used bucket mixing and manual adding methods

Relatively small footprint allowing positioning in close proximity of the systems to be treated
