WES is a long-established and respected company based in Basingstoke, Hampshire. We are now part of the RSE (Ross-shire Engineering) group, and our client base is spread across various industry sectors including water, nuclear power, defence, marine and industrial manufacturing. We specialise in the design, engineering and supply of chemical dosing systems and ancillary products and services.
The range of services WES offers varies from a simple component through to the complete design, build and installation of bulk chemical dosing systems.
Overview of the role
WES is currently looking for a Graduate Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team and become part of this growing company at an exciting time. Graduates are fundamental in shaping the future of WES, and we encourage young people to join our team and launch their career developing innovative solutions that will have significant impact within the water industry.
Our graduate role is designed to provide the opportunity of exposure to all areas of WES, a carefully constructed position that provides flexibility to explore multiple roles and projects before discussing with your mentor your chosen career path.

What your first 12 months will look like:
From your first day you will be working on projects that will challenge you and your skills. Being an SME, you will have access, and contribute to all areas of the business, while building a strong network of relationships that will support your career, both now and long into the future.
You will embark on a 24-month development programme, in the first 12 months exploring all aspects of the projects departments, which include proposals, tendering processes, project engineering, hands on experience in manufacturing, testing, and commissioning, finance and cost reporting. This is a unique opportunity to experience multiple disciplines within an Engineering role, before building your career path with the support from you mentor.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Engineering degree (other degrees or experience will be considered)
- Computer literate – fully proficient with Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Adaptable and willing to working within a collaborative team environment.

- Salary starting from £30,000 (dependent on skills/experience)
