Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is good for the planet, our customers, communities and our employees.
We take our social responsibilities seriously and are committed to advancing our policies and systems across the company to ensure we address and monitor all aspects of CSR that are relevant to our business. These include good ethical behaviour, concern for employee health and safety, care for the environment and community involvement. We recognise that our social, environmental and ethical conduct has an impact on our reputation and that of our customers.
Environment
We’re committed to reducing our direct impact on the environment by actively managing our waste, emissions and consumption of natural resources.
Employee health and wellbeing
We aim to create a workplace that encourages diversity and equal opportunities for all. We actively encourage professional development through training and regular performance reviews.
Procurement (finance and purchasing)
We review our suppliers’ financial stability, environmental compliance and CSR.
Community
We promote employee volunteering (and support this financially) and fundraising. We also work with local colleges; supporting apprenticeships and projects.
